DRBU Dining Services nourishes students, faculty, and staff of the university with a vegetarian diet to support the community’s intellectual and spiritual growth. We believe that wholesome, modest, and sustainable diet is vital to living harmoniously with all members of our ecosystem.
Five Contemplations Dining Hall, located centrally on campus, serves three vegetarian meals a day to DRBU faculty, staff, and students, as well as members of the monasteries and gradeschools sharing the campus at CTTB. The dining hall is run entirely through volunteer and work-study programs, and serves hundreds of people every day. Our menus are simple and healthy, with options available for special dietary needs. Working together with the organic farm, dining services work to make eating at DRBU a sustainable and healthy experience for everyone.
